If your website it down:
- Go to search.twitter.com and do a search for your host (ex: Bluehost, MediaTemple, etc). If you see a number of other website owners explaining that their website is down, it's most likely a hosting issue which you cannot resolve until the host is takes care of it on their end. If you don't see other people complaining of the same thing, it could be a hosting issue that only affects your website, which the host should then be contacted.
